Montpellier, the capital of Herault department, Languedoc-Roussillon region, is the world's 8th largest city. If you walk further towards the northeastern corner, you will find a small park called Esplanade de Charles de Gaulle. The small park is located near to Montpellier's Corum. The corum building is used a place for holding conferences and opera house. It offers a conference center that measures about 6000 meter square in area. The building looks luxurious and is renovated with pink marbles.


Musee Fabre is a museum that exhibits paintings drawn by artists that live between 15th – 19th centuries. However, most paintings are from 15th – 18th centuries. The paintings are by famous artists such as Sebastien Bourdon, Carle Van Loo, Jean Hugo, Claude Viallat, Gustave, Courbet, Carle Van Loo, Gaspard Dughet, Jean Baptiste Oudry, Hubert Robert and etc. You will be able to see many ceramic artifacts founded in different parts of Europe. Musee Fabre is originally built by Francois Xavier Fabre. The paintings are contributed by the town of Montpellier and other art collectors.

If you like to explore different types of plants, you can visit the local botanical garden, called Jardin des plantes de Montpellier. It offers exhibitions of approximately 2680 species of flora. The town of Montpellier is connected by high speed trains. The railway station of Monpellier is Saint Roch railway station. There is a tramway network with 2 tram lines that runs to Odysseum and St. Jean-de-Vedas.
