Le Creusot is a city in Saone-et-Loire department, Bourgogne, France. The residents of Le Creusot are called Creusotins. In the past, the town was used as a place for performing mining activities. La Verrerie Castle is a famous tourist location in Le Creusot. It was formerly used to store the crystal collection of Queen Marie-Antoinette. After many years, the castle was purchased by the Schneider family. The Schneider family converted it into a house and lived there. Today, the chateau is called the Museum of Man and Industry. There is a large park that covers an area of 28 acres in the surrounding region.
