Belfort is a city in northeastern France. The city is situated in Territoire de Belfort department, Franche-Comte region. Tourists can visit the 18th century Belfort Cathedral. Belfort Cathedral is a national monument in France. The cathedral was built during the early 18th century. Res sandstones from Offremont were used to build the cathedral. The organ in the church is listed as a classic monument in France.

If you want to explore ancient weapons, you can visit Musee d'Art et d'Histoire. The museum is located in the surviving part of a thirteenth century castle in Belfort. The museum offers exhibitions of weapons that are used during the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Neolithic periods. There are also a number of paintings by famous painters such as Utrillo, and Signac.

Tourists can go to the cities near Belfort by taking railway train services. The train brings passengers to large cities such as Nancy and Besancon. Some of the services provided by SNCF (Societe Nationale des Chemins de fer fraincais) include TGV high speed railway service, medium distance railway service, and regional railway service. There is no airport in the town. However, you can travel to Basel-Mulhouse airport to travel to other places.
